1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Hustlay ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. These terms apply to all users including free-plan users.
2. Description of service
Hustlay is a financial tracking and invoicing tool for freelancers and independent contractors. The Service is provided "as is" for personal and business bookkeeping purposes. It is not a licensed accounting service, tax advisor, or financial institution.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share accounts or transfer them without written consent. You must provide accurate information when signing up. We reserve the right to suspend accounts found to be fraudulent or abusive.
4. Your data
You own all financial data you input into Hustlay. We do not claim any rights over your transactions, invoices, or business information. You can export your data at any time from the Export page (Pro plan and above). If you close your account, data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Free plan features are available indefinitely with no credit card. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer partial-month refunds except where required by applicable law. Annual plan refunds within 14 days of purchase are available upon request.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Hustlay to track illegal income, launder money, or violate any applicable law. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the Service outside of authorized export features. You may not resell access to the Service.
7. Limitation of liability
Hustlay is not liable for any tax calculations, financial decisions, or accounting errors that result from use of the Service. Always consult a qualified tax professional for tax advice. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hustlay is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration except where prohibited by law.
